Most of the state’s application periods are now closed, except Texas that comes up on various dates later.

There is one I don’t usually list, but there are those that are meat hunters and just want to go hunting: Utah antlerless applications are due June 18th

Utah has a separate antlerless permit application with a point system separate from the regular draw. Tags are available for Bighorn ewe, cow elk and moose, deer and pronghorn doe. Price is less for the females, but is going up significantly September 1st. If you do not have a tag, and enjoy game meat as I do, it is another opportunity.

You do have to purchase a license. The tags run from $118.00 for a deer up to $1100.00 for a moose
